Human centered transformation in tech

About Carlo

With a background in aeronautical engineering and a Master’s in Public Administration, Carlo has built nearly 30 years of leadership experience at the intersection of technology and people. Along the way, personal life events shaped his vision toward people-centered change. He realized that transformation isn’t driven by more controls, but by stories that resonate. Today, he equips leaders to translate risk into narratives that inspire trust, shape culture, and accelerate decisions.

Today, Carlo is a Global CISO and a leading voice on story-driven transformation.

Professional authority. Global CISO for a €13 Billion food multinational (FrieslandCampina) with nearly 30 years of leadership experience. Carlo bridges cybersecurity, neuroscience, organizational psychology, and change management—embedding technology into culture, not just into tools.

“The most powerful person in the world is the storyteller.”

Life outside work

Carlo lives near the Dutch coast with his wife and two daughters. He has a lifelong passion for Budo sports such as karate and kickboxing, where discipline and resilience are central. Away from the stage and business, he finds energy and balance in life on the water — part-time living on a houseboat, enjoying the sea, and embracing the rhythm of the coast.

Trusted by leaders across industries.
